Cast and crew of the much-awaited directorial debut of multi-talented Mohib Mirza “Ishrat – Made in China” is stuck in Thailand post the shoot of the said film. Its been more than 2 weeks that the crew is stuck in kanchanaburii a town situated at a few hours drive from Bangkok – Thailand. The anxiety levels of the artists are high and on their social handles they have posted videos appealing to the Government of Pakistan to make arrangements for the return.
21 members include Shamoon Abbasi, Sanam Saeed, Sara Loren, Imam Saeed, Mohib Mirza and the technical crew
Shamoon Abbasi being the most vocal in this situation posted today on his facebook profile a video expressing the situation they are in.
Shamoon also posted a video earlier on his Instagram appealing the authorities to look into the matter yet they wait and watch how the situation unfolds for them. He also highlighted the situation of more than a 1000 people especially females who are stuck abroad.
It is to be noted that HSY, Mani,Ali Kazmi and Mustafa Chaudhry flew back and the rest of the crew had to fly back on the 25th of March 2020 but the airports were sealed and they were scheduled to travel back on the 4th of April 2020, which again ended in a disappointment.
Earlier Mohib Mirza the producer and director of the film also posted a video on his Instagram requesting the authorities to make arrangements for the exit of the 21 members crew out of Thailand and back to their Homeland as bearing expenses of such number is getting difficult for him as well.
We at Splashnspice hope these guys along with many others stuck away from their homes in this time of crisis make it home safe and sound.
