Laraib Atta is the Pakistani youngest VFX effect artist. She was only 19 when her first Hollywood movie released in 2006. Recently, she revealed that she worked on “Tom Cruise’s” new movie “Mission Impossible Fallout”.
She is a daughter of Pakistan’s famous singer Attaullah Khan Niazi Esakhelvi. Earlier, Laraib worked on Hollywood’s blockbuster movies as well.
The gorgeous “Laraib Atta” said “Hi, my name is Laraib Atta and I am a visual effects artist and I have worked some of the big Hollywood films including Mission: Impossible – Fallout. Before I started the course I had no idea what VFX is, It’s just I knew this is magic for films, that’s all I knew. The first time I watched “Toy Story” that really inspired me, I was like wow how is this done? and I don’t know back then I was going to get into visual effects but it was in me all this time that something related to art and technology I wanted to do”
Laraib Atta also hopes to motivate other Pakistani Women.
Additionally, she said “My parents didn’t even know what I was getting into, but they supported absolutely supported when I spoke to my father my, mother, they were like absolutely you have all the choice in the world. Whatever you want to do whatever career you want to pursue you can definitely go for it. Back then when I started I was the only girl in the course and the youngest and of course the only Pakistani. So, yeah, I don’t see a lot of Pakistanis There are some women I’ve start to see now, more women coming into this industry but still it’s like 70-8-% men. The goal is to get more women, young people into this, and more Pakistanis.
