As everyone knows the general elections of Pakistan are right around the corner, our top local celebrities who have moved to Toronto, Canada to attend an award show, a major controversy erupted around them for not voting in 1028’s election.
It wasn’t expected that the stars who often played like role models for us are not interested in participating in the national democratic process, the major allrounder figures including Ahmed Ali Butt, Bushra Ansari, Yasir Hussain, Kubra Khan, Shaz Khan, Humayun Saeed, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Hania Aamir and Mahira Khan among others have skipped the country to attend the 6TH HUM awards that are held on 28 July 2018.
For missing the elections, backlash controversies against these celebrities are really strong on the internet. Their fellow actor/singer Farhan Saeed took to his twitter and criticized them, he said “All the people from my fraternity & otherwise travelling abroad at such a crucial time is so heart-breaking . Please let’s not take our country’s future for granted. #Elections2018 #PakistanElections”.
Farhan Saeed received many thumbs up for raising the point. Have a look at what people are saying.
Point to be noted.
We proud of the celebrities who are supporting their leaders and participating in the political campaigns. Besides Farhan Saeed, the active celebrities in political campaigns are Feroze Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mawra Hocane and Urwa Hocane.
